What is the story behind your business' name?

We are Good Dawgs, we are owned by Pay It Forward Foods and are managed by the Gerbehy family. Originally from Northern New Jersey our family grew up with Sabrett hotdogs. Whether it was on the street corner in Cliffside Park, Hoboken, or New York City it was always one stop that you had to make, And I mean you HAD to! That’s what always made the trip so great! Now living in South Jersey we found out not many people had ever heard of a Sabrett hot dog nevermind tasted it, so when looking for a way to fund our philanthropy with a food truck offering something different than everyone else, a NYC-style hot dog cart made sense. As we planned, we soon realized a push cart wouldn't cut it we had to go big or go home, three years later an 18-foot trailer was the way for us to help locals, and Good Dawgs was born. giving back with every meal because "a company without a cause is a company without effect"

Operating from an 18-foot trailer, this food truck takes the essence of NYC’s famous “dirty-water dogs” and elevates it with a menu full of house-made toppings, like zesty aioli, flavorful chili, and slaws bursting with freshness. It’s all about taking simple street food and turning it into something special, whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or looking for comfort food with flair.

But Good Dawgs doesn’t stop at hot dogs. Their menu branches out with smash burgers, BBQ pulled pork, and breakfast options that cater to every craving.
