Jeanie lived that farm to table lifestyle well before it was a full-fledged movement. Growing up in a rural area, her family harvested food straight from their own backyard. Everything was made from scratch, including ice cream. Using an old-fashioned ice cream maker and snow from the great outdoors, Jeanie regularly whipped up soft serve for her family. She got away from the habit in adulthood. But when her daughter got married, she asked Jeanie to make homemade desserts for the reception.
