After Joel Aubie spent a number of years cooking his way across Canada, including a stint as a contestant on Top Chef Canada, he and his girlfriend/business partner Melanie McLean moved back home to Bathurst, New Brunswick and got their hands on a Snap-On truck. Since then, Jobie’s Mobile Kitchen has been serving globally-inspired food using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients.
Though the menu changes based on the season, you can expect a solid line of sandwiches at all times. The slow-smoked pulled pork sandwich is a local favorite, topped with cabbage, carrot & apple slaw, and homemade BBQ sauce. If you’re more of the taco persuasion, activate the salty/sweet powerhouse chicken tacos, served with pineapple salsa, cabbage, roasted red pepper chili sauce, and chipotle mayo.
