I learned to brew coffee and espresso through a mix of hands-on experience, curiosity, and a deep appreciation for the craft. What started as a personal passion turned into a purposeful practice — learning not just how to make a good cup, but how to create a meaningful moment around it. From experimenting with beans and brewing methods, to understanding how environment and intention shape the coffee experience — it’s all been part of the journey. Every cup we serve is rooted in that same love for quality and the mission to spread joy — one intentional sip at a time.

Why did you decide to start your business?

I decided to start a business because I wanted to create something that not only brought people together, but also made a meaningful impact in their everyday lives. With Just-In Joy Coffee Co, the mission goes beyond just brewing great coffee — it’s about spreading intentional moments of joy, connection, and purpose in a world that often feels rushed and disconnected. Coffee has always been more than a beverage to me — it's a ritual, a reason to pause, a way to connect. I saw an opportunity to turn that experience into something that uplifts people, supports local communities, and encourages mindful living. Just-In Joy Coffee Co is about fueling people’s days not just with caffeine, but with compassion, joy, and authenticity.

Who encouraged you the most to start your own business?

The person who encouraged me most to start this business was my wife. Her passion for coffee goes far beyond the drink itself — she sees it as a way to bring people together, to create community, and to slow down and savor life’s little moments. Watching her light up over a well-brewed cup and meaningful conversation inspired me to think bigger — to turn that passion into something with purpose.
