Teksoo grew up in a working class immigrant family. His parents spent years running a Korean restaurant, hoping Teksoo would one day grow up to work a white collar job. While Teksoo did just that for years, he found the 9 to 5 life wasn’t for him. Now, he’s returning to his roots with Loopy’s Eatery. You can catch this truck rolling through Washington DC serving up healthy Korean fare on the street. The menu is a three step process to deliciousness. Start with your foundation, whether it be a box, a bowl, a burrito, or a taco. Then, pick your protein. Go for anything from beef bulgogi to spicy pork to tofu for the meat-free crowd.
