At this point, yet another rice bowl vendor isn’t exactly exciting: countless restaurants and pop ups have copied the Chipotle-esque model, but few have managed to stick the landing when it comes to non-sushi Japanese-style bowls. Maze-Maze, we’re happy to say, is a different story. The New York-based tent has become a staple of the Grand Bazaar NYC, slinging Japanese sushi-less rice bowls since 2015.
