About Mestizo

The Bay meets the Gulf at Mestizo, San Francisco's mobile taste of Yucatán. Using locally sourced ingredients, this food truck has those classic tacos, burritos, and quesadillas, with achiote marinated meats or spiced cauliflower, as well as some more localized dishes. Ever had a panucho? It's a fried, handmade corn tortilla stuffed with black bean purée and your choice of protein, maybe the citrus-marinated cochinita pibil. Want to try a salbute? It's a fried, handmade corn tortilla stuffed with melted cheese and your choice of protein, like the pollo asada, marinated for 12 hours in achiote, citrus, and spices.
