The folks behind Mi Casa Mexicana have a long family history in the food industry. The owner’s grandmother used to live in Mexico City, across the street from a factory. The rich scent of her home cooking enticed the workers, who would often come straight to her door and offer to buy her food. Inspired, she opened up her very own restaurant. Years later, the family relocated to Vancouver, BC, where they now continue the tradition of selling homemade Mexican fare.
Each and every item here comes with its own carefully crafted flavor profile, from the tacos to the tamales to the quesadillas. You can grab a taco stuffed with some smoky chicken tinga or tender pork cochinita. Or, go for a warm, comforting bowl of menudo packed with aromatic spices to tickle your taste buds. Love tamales?
