Arlton Cangelosi, the Mr. A behind Mr. A's Beignets, was born and raised in New Orleans. While he worked in the food industry on and off throughout college, he never owned a bakery himself. However, Cangelosi kept up with his baking on the side during his 30 year career in the postal service, frequently making beignets for friends and family members. After retirement, he decided to pursue his passion and opened up his own food truck to dish out this delectable pastry throughout the Raleigh-Durham, NC area.
