Jesse Lee Marshall and Sheena Fuson fell in love with both each other and the art of corn dogs when they first founded My Sweet Lil’ Cakes. As is the case with many small businesses, the early days of this food truck were ripe with difficulties and setbacks that included 18 hour days often spent working in the pouring rain out of the tiniest truck in the city. Marshall and Fuson had a dream, however, and genuinely wanted to share their gourmet take on the corn dog with Seattle, WA. The hard work and dedication paid off and, over the years, what started as a fledgling business venture has morphed into a booming family business beloved by The Emerald City. Corn dog lovers will rejoice in this decadent menu.
Don’t let the name deceive you. My Sweet Lil’ Cakes dishes up both the sweet and the savory when it comes to corn dogs. Flavor profiles include both bacon-y, cheesy concoctions and dogs smothered in sugary sweet spreads like Nutella and caramel. And it’s not just the flavors, but the underlying quality that makes this fare fantastic. The hog dogs used are made from 100% grass-fed beef and are served fresh and hot. And, believe us, you’ll taste the difference. Are you drooling? Book My Sweet Lil’ Cakes for your next event. Can anyone honestly resist a corn dog? Guests will love sampling the eats dished out by this unique vendor.
Beer and Hickory Smoked Bacon - The combination of beer and hickory in the bacon brings out the rich umami flavor of the meats and, from there, this corn dog is drizzled in ranch and sprinkled with jalapeño for a savory, mouth-singeing kick.
Red Velvet Buttermilk - The chocolate-y taste of the red velvet shell pairs perfectly with the dark cherries and cream cheese frosting drizzled over this corn dog. Yum.
