What is the story behind your business' name?
What do empty nesters do when all the birds have launched from the nest? Why, they open a food trailer… or at least that’s what we decided to do. When our last one had left the nest, I asked Jeff if we could open a food trailer. With no hesitation Jeff agreed and we began to work on our concept. My sister had shared a reel of a brick and mortar business that sold frozen bananas beachside. My mind began dreaming up all different routes we could go with the concept of a frozen dipped banana. I immediately knew the name would be Nana’s Bananas to honor my grandmother that lived 94 years in Sarasota County. We took a photo of her and had AI turn her into a cartoon, and in that moment Nana’s Bananas came to life.
