Husband and wife team Christian and Kelly Nye have known each other since high school, where they bonded over a mutual love of food. Christian had a particular passion for ice cream sandwiches. However, as the pair pursued more practical professions, their love of these sweet treats fell to the wayside. After the birth of their sons, the Nyes found themselves wanting to do what they loved while spending more time at home. They decided to pursue their lifelong dream and open their own restaurant. With that, Nye’s Cream Sandwiches was born. Christian and Kelly have been whippin’ up homemade ice cream sandwiches for residents of Wilmington, NC ever since.

Christian makes his artisanal sweets in small batches to ensure freshness.
