What is the story behind your business' name?

When my wife was pregnant, she had donut cravings. As a Frenchman, I could not bear the thought of her having non-organic food. So I made her a deal; every time she would crave a donut, I would cook her a crepe. Our son was literally made out of crêpes! We only cook and eat organic food, and we wouldn't serve anything we wouldn't eat ourselves.

Chef Olivier Bessaignet invites you to experience the flavors of his childhood home in Nice, in the South of France, where his mother first shared her cherished family crepe recipe. Since starting at the Riverside Farmers Market in Reno in 2021, their charming little blue trailer has become a beloved presence at major events around town. Chef Olivier is committed to accommodating dietary preferences, offering gluten-free and dairy-free options by using organic almond milk and traditional gluten-free buckwheat flour. They take pride in offering high-quality crepes made exclusively with organic ingredients, making them the only food truck in the area to do so. Whether you choose the traditional crepe or the gluten-free buckwheat variety, each one is dairy-free and crafted with the same care and authenticity you would find in France. With a diverse selection of savory and sweet crepes, they aim to deliver a full, multilayered meal experience that transports you to the heart of French cuisine.
