Jason Mirhardy learned to cook from the women in his family. From a young age, he helped his mother and aunts in the kitchen. As an adult, he decided to pursue the culinary arts professionally. After training in Miami and cutting his teeth at restaurants across the country, Jason eventually found himself back in his hometown of Washington DC running a food truck. At Ohh Dat ChickeN, he serves up mouth-watering rotisserie chicken to those seeking a hearty meal on the street.

You’ll smell this truck well before you see it as the mix of aji pepper, cumin, and saffron used to season up this poultry gives off an enticing scent. Jason marinates his birds for 48 hours before slow-cooking them vertically over an open flame. This both keeps these choice cuts nice and juicy and adds a mild charred flavor to the mix.
