About Philly Down South

The inspiration for Philly Down South came straight from Pennsylvania. The owner’s family owned their own restaurant, Leary’s Tavern, back in Croydon, PA. Upon migrating to West Palm Beach, FL, he found he sorely missed a good old-fashioned philly cheesesteak. With that, this food trailer was born. Keep your eyes peeled for Philly Down South at various events across the Sunshine State for a little taste of the City of Brotherly Love. Naturally, philly cheesesteak is a staple of the menu. You can, of course, grab the classic blend of steak, onions, green peppers, and cheese whiz served up on an Amoroso roll. However, there are also plenty of exciting twists on the classic. A cheesesteak served up with pepperoni and Provolone cheese? What about tossing some fried eggs in for an extra burst of protein? Yes, please.
