What is the story behind your business' name?

First and foremost, our name did not come from a family name. It is actually the name of the town in Sicily where I fell in love with, well, all the things!!: the people, the coffee (the Italian way…iykyk), the tiny little streets, the language, the chocolate, the beach, fresh seafood, and of course, Sicilian crepes! When deciding on a name for this crazy food truck business, it only made sense to honor the place it all began: Ragusa, Sicily, my 2nd home.

There's nothin' like a classic Italian crepe to start your day with a culinary take. At the Ragusa's Italian Crepe Cafe truck, every day in Kansas City, Missouri is like a sunshiny day in Sicily. And that's exactly where these owners fell in love with food (and that's a love that lasts a lifetime)!

Friends, if you're lookin' to cater the ultimate sweet or savory treat at your office, family, or school event, Ragusa's is the real deal for delightfully filling dishes. The owner's great-grandparents moved to the U.S. from Ragusa, Sicily, where culture, coffee, and crepes are standard in cooking. A trip back there, and many many crepes later, the truck's owner came back inspired to share their heritage with heavenly folded crepes. These handheld delights not only taste delicious but are deftly made to display incredible condiments. Nothin' like a rosemary prosciutto, mozzarella, garlic aioli, and spinach crepe at the start of your day. Or savor the flavor of provolone, oregano, and roma tomato, or spicy salome, all-beef meatballs, red sauce, and parmesan, all wrapped up for your total delight.

Lookin' to sweeten the deal? Go for the imported cannolis directly from Sicily, s'mores crepe filled with marshmallow, chocolate, and graham crackers, or Nutella-infused thin pancake. Our eyes go to their tiramisù treat with coffee-infused mascarpone and cacao as well as the salted caramel apple with crushed pretzels.
