What is the story behind your business' name?

Rory Rooster was developed by a couple residing in the Lehigh Valley who love to eat. And yes, their favorite food is chicken! Where did the same Rory Rooster come from? Who the heck is Rory? Well, one day the husband had a rough day. The wife wanted to make him feel better and got him a stuffed animal…a chicken. The chicken was eventually named Rory. Of course, the couple needed some help. Who better to help than family? The family recruited their 4 children, who happily agreed and supported this vision. Over time, Rory Rooster kept growing with the love of family and developed into what we know today. Rory Rooster also provides catering and attends local events to spread this love, offering delicious chicken and servicing Pennsylvania & New Jersey.

What started with a stuffed chicken named Rory turned into a full family operation, with parents and kids teaming up to share comfort food across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The menu keeps the focus on crispy chicken done right, featuring the Rory Chicken Sandwich, the Rory Deluxe Chicken Sandwich, and hand cut chicken tenders.
