About SnoMo

Once appearing on CNN’s list of the 50 best foods in the world, snow ice is a fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth Taiwanese dessert fans of all things cold and sweet simply must sample. If you’re lucky enough to find yourself in Austin, TX, you can do just that at SnoMo. This popup purveyor of snow ice and more is making appearances at events and festivals throughout the Lone Star State. What is snow ice, exactly? It’s essentially a cross between ice cream and shaved ice, made by finely shaving an ice cream-like base to create a mound of tiny ribbons of sweetness. The snow ice here comes in flavors ranging from almond to chocolate to Thai tea, the menu even offering dairy-free options so the lactose intolerant don’t have to feel deprived. In addition to its eponymous sweet snack, you can grab waffles, slushies, sweet rice, and other sweet things. Eager to try these goodies? Then book SnoMo for your next event. MUST TRY Coffee Snow Ice — A perfect blend of bitter, sweet, and airy for your enjoyment.
