Yes, Soda City is registered for catering and/or vending events on Roaming Hunger. In terms of availability, we don't manage their calendar. The best way to find out if they're available is to fill out your event information and see if they respond.

What is your favorite dish on the menu?

My favorite drink on the menu is The Smooth Criminal. It’s a Coke-based soda infused with black cherry and vanilla, then topped with a layer of sweet cream. The name says it all, it’s unbelievably smooth, and honestly, it should be a crime to stop at just one.

What is the story behind your business' name?

Soda City was chosen because it represents community, fun, and togetherness. We wanted a name that was easy to remember and instantly felt welcoming. Just like a city brings people together, Soda City is about creating a place where everyone can connect, enjoy great drinks, and make lasting memories.

Where did you learn to cook?

We’re a soda bar, our process is more mixology than traditional cooking. I’m self-taught through hands-on experimentation sampling, testing different flavors, syrups, creams, and blends, and learning what works best together. A lot of our menu was created through trial, creativity, and listening to customer feedback. My partner also brings experience from bartending at a local bar, which has helped shape our approach to balance, flavor pairing, and presentation.

Why did you decide to start your business?

I started this business for my boys. Like most kids, they love soda and popcorn, but it became more than just something fun we shared together. I wanted to build something that showed them what’s possible through hard work, creativity, and faith. This business is about breaking generational cycles and creating something lasting not just memories, but a legacy. I want my boys to grow up seeing that you can take something simple, pour your heart into it, and turn it into an opportunity that serves others and provides for your family

Who encouraged you the most to start your own business?

My husband encouraged me the most to start my own business. He knew it had always been my dream, even before I fully believed it was possible myself. He pushed me to go after it, take the risk, and trust in what I was capable of building. His support and belief in me gave me the confidence to finally take that step.

Our favorite events to cater have been high school dances and football games. They’re always busy, high-energy, and full of excitement. We love the atmosphere and the joy the kids bring. Their enthusiasm makes the long nights worth it and reminds us why we love what we do.
