Sokah Food Truck brings the irresistible flavors of Trinidad and Tobago to Fort Worth, created by musician-turned-chef Derron Blackman and his wife, Aurora. Named after the musical genre Derron’s father pioneered, Sokah blends Caribbean rhythm with soulful cooking, serving dishes that honor tradition while adding a creative twist.

Each item on the menu tells a story, from Trinidadian “doubles” topped with curried chickpeas and homemade mango chutney to roti jerk chicken tacos filled with spiced meat and vegetables. Favorites like bake and fish sandwiches with tamarind sauce, fried jerk chicken and fries, and curry goat showcase the couple’s passion for authentic island flavors made fresh from scratch.
