Why the name Squeeze Inn? It all comes down to history. Given it’s a food truck, hopping on the recent mobile dining trend, you may think Squeeze Inn is a fairly new establishment. However, some iteration of this business has existed since 1932 when Thyri Bainter opened up a cafe in a tiny passageway near her husband’s barber shop. Given guests had to, well, squeeze in, the name came naturally. Flash forward to the 2000s, and Thyri’s grandchildren began running the business. Now, this food truck and restaurant continues to dish out classic diner fare across Zillah, WA.
The menu sticks to good old-fashioned American standards sure to conjure images of cozy booths and checkerboard tiles straight from the era of the diner. The menu has loads of deep-fried appetizers, like onion wings, tater tots, and fried calamari. There are sandwiches galore for entrees, from reubens to patty melts to cheeseburgers. The menu also sports salads, steaks, pasta, and more. Whatever you try, these recipes have been perfected over generations. So, you know it’ll be good. Don’t hesitate to stop by for a hearty meal. Or, even better, book Squeeze Inn Restaurant and Food Truck for your next event. You won’t regret it.
Prime Rib Dip - Slow-roasted for a full day, this cut of prime rib is tender and dripping with juice. It comes slathered in horseradish and served up on a toasty hoagie bun. Yum.
