Yes, Supercharged Smoothies is registered for catering and/or vending events on Roaming Hunger. In terms of availability, we don't manage their calendar. The best way to find out if they're available is to fill out your event information and see if they respond.

Is Supercharged Smoothies available in my city?

Supercharged Smoothies has a home base in Pleasant Grove and surrounding areas. Keep in mind that for catering, they may add a travel fee if it's outside of their normal travel radius.

What is your favorite dish on the menu?

Supercharged is one of my favorite smoothies!! With 14 ingredients it makes such a healthy and delicious beverage. Think about how much your body is going to love Kale, chard, spinach, Brussel sprouts, carrots, broccoli, red cabbage, combined with lemon, mangos, dark cherries, blueberries, apply juice, and agave! What tell you taste it! It is amazing!! Every cell in your body will say Thank you!!

What is the story behind your business' name?

My friends would call me the Juice Weasel from the sitcom Jim Carrey did about being this super healthy guy because he would blend fruits and veggies all the time. They called him the Juice Weasel. I never liked that name and I love monkeys so I called myself the Juice Monkey. Well after I started the business I was looking to hire a consultant and he suggested that the name Juice Monkey doesn’t really tell people what my mission statement is about. I wanted to promote health and nutrition. He suggested I choose a different name. That is when my wife came up with the name Supercharged Smoothies. This is a name that has something within it that speaks healthy and good. Plus I like the Super hero logo design we made too.

Where did you learn to cook?

My wife is the most amazing smoothie maker and she taught me how to make the best smoothies. My neighbor who is an amazing cook helped me come up with two of my smoothie recipes.

Why did you decide to start your business?

After helping my friend overcome his diabetes with drinking my smoothie and watching all these soda shops popping up giving people diabetes. I had to throw my hat into the ring and build a smoothie trailer. I knew I needed to help give people a healthier choice.

Who encouraged you the most to start your own business?

My friend Mike Treu. He owe it all to him and his encouragement. He has been drinking my smoothies now for many years and has kept his diabetes in check. Vegetables heal and he is walking proof of this. If you look on the front of my trailer under the coconut tree with the Monkey you will see him sitting on the chair by the ocean with a smoothie.

What's your favorite event that you've catered for?

It was the Kyle Van Noy's, Van Noy Valor Foundation, charity golf tourney at the Alpine Country Club. It was so much fun to be invited to spend time on the golf course giving away our smoothies to all these people golfing. We got a ton of great feedback and one man told us he thought out of all the food vendors there that day we were the best one. We felt very pleased with this.
