The Bite Box

The Bite Box invites residents of New York to sink their teeth into some quality food found at two of their favorite restaurants: The Deli Downtown and A La Mode Cafe and Catering. But don't get confused. Both owned and operated by father/daughter team Bob and Jeanne Catalfano, both restaurants were well versed in doing offsite events. But soon, their popularity grew and they decided to bring the best of the best from each menu and serve it up on four wheels, out of a food truck roaming in Syracuse and beyond. From sliders and tacos to sandwiches and wraps, most of what you'll find at The Bite Box is homemade using only the freshest quality ingredients. But these aren't your regular old food truck offerings. Each is a unique spin on comfortable forms. Take their all original take on chicken and waffles: the chicken in a waffle cone. A waffle cone made for ice cream is instead stuffed with bacon chive mashed potatoes and breaded chicken, drizzled with maple syrup. And that's only one example of this inventive pair's menu.
