The Black Thai is the brainchild of Brayden Wynn, Dean Johnson, and Charlie Phillip. These friends grew up together in Greenville, SC, but went their separate ways later in life. In 2012, by coincidence, they all ended up working at a ski resort restaurant in Jackson, WY. Together, they dreamed up an American-Thai fusion restaurant, eventually moving back to Greenville and opening up their own food truck.
