Chef Gabe Gagliardi learned Southern-style barbecue cooking during his upbringing in Tennessee and South Carolina. He then spent years traveling throughout the country learning about regional cuisines, different cooking styles, and much more about food and culture. Using all this collected culinary knowledge, he decided to bring slow-cooked, hickory smoked barbecue to the Seattle, WA area with The Boar’s Nest.
The menu touches on all the good old-fashioned barbecue favorites you know and love. While it doesn’t stray terribly far from tradition, you don’t need fancy fusions or new twists when barbecue is cooked to such utter perfection. The food at Boar’s Head is always served fresh and never reheated. The slow-cook method helps the meat stay juicy and maintain its flavor and the hickory wood gives everything that rich, smoky taste beloved by barbecue fans. The menu carries all your classic barbecue meats from ribs to chicken to hot links to smoked sausage. You’ll also find your favorite sides like potato salad, coleslaw, and greens and these cool eats pair perfectly with a warm slab of BBQ meat. The menu also sports tasty baked goods like moon pies, chocolate chip cookies, and brownies for your sweet tooth, so you’ll get an enviable dessert table in addition to a hearty dinner. Getting hungry? Book The Boar’s Nest for your next event. No one can resist the temptation of high quality barbecue, so it’s sure to be a crowd-pleaser that will leave guests more than satisfied.
