What is the story behind your business' name?

Before the food truck, I made BBQ sauces and spice rubs. The name was Bander’s Butt Sauce. That transformed into Butt Hutt.

Using family recipes and concoctions, Butt Hutt is here to satisfy all your slow-smoked meat cravings with some truly top-tier Florida-style barbecue. Good barbecue is built on a foundation of good meat, and the hand selected meat at Butt Hutt does not disappoint. Founder, Jacob gives these choice cuts a sugar rub before slow-smoking them over pecan wood. Once everything’s warm and juicy, it’s time to get creative. The Butt Hutt offers a wide array of original homemade barbecue sauces that range from an old-fashioned sweet-and-savory spread to unique blends like spicy Southern mustard. The menu here is pretty out-of-the-box, offering some truly original dishes. For example, the Bangin Curry Fries feature fries seasoned with curry spices topped off with pulled pork, sautéed peppers and onions, and a heaping helping of coconut curry honey mustard.
