The Colombian Hot Dog

For over a decade, The Colombian Hot Dog has been a staple of the Bridgeport, CT street food scene. Their eponymous hot dogs—as well as a lineup of burgers, arepas, and fries—helped land them a food trailer, and ever since then, they don’t seem to be slowing down any time soon. Arepas, burgers, and fries are never a bad move, but let’s be real — you’re here for the hot dog. Topped with crushed potato chips, bacon, coleslaw, fried cheese, ketchup, pineapple sauce, and pink sauce, this is the hunger (and hangover) cure you didn’t know you needed. You’ll need some salchipapas (fries topped with hot dogs, salami, quail eggs, ketchup, pink sauce, pineapple sauce, and special sauce) too, so don’t skip on those.
