What is the story behind your business' name?

We are a mobile barista specializing in Affogatos. What is an Affogato? It is a scoop of vanilla gelato "drowned" in hot espresso. Fun fact: Affogato translates to "drowned" in Italian. What is in the name The Craft Caffe? We are both crafters and working on crafting a perfect espresso drink for you! And Caffe is the Italian word for espresso coffee.

The Craft Caffe brings Italian-inspired coffee culture to Kendall Park, New Jersey with a food trailer dedicated to affogatos and specialty espresso drinks. This mobile barista takes pride in crafting every cup with care, serving scoops of creamy vanilla gelato “drowned” in rich, organic espresso for a treat that is as refreshing as it is energizing.

The menu highlights creative options like The Fiona, a signature affogato topped with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and a cookie, or The Hons, a nitro cold brew float that pairs smooth cold brew with gelato for a modern twist. Guests can also enjoy hot or iced lattes with oat, almond, or whole milk, or keep things simple with a perfectly pulled espresso or Americano. Even pups get to join in with the Pup Cup, made of homemade whipped cream topped with a dog treat.
