The J. Mobile

As Matt Clayton’s buzzy plant-based restaurant J. Selby’s began to grow in popularity, it wasn’t long before his customers started begging him to open a truck. Lucky for us, that’s exactly what he did. An offshoot of the original, the J. Mobile is serving the same vegan comfort classics that the people of Minneapolis have grown to love. If you think of burgers and chili dogs when you think of comfort food, then good news! You’re already thinking of J. Mobile. Does comfort food also mean gyros to you? Bingo, you better believe they’ve got gyros as well. Don’t skip any of their sides either, like spicy coleslaw and house made potato salad, as well as their rotating specials like mac and cheese. If you’ve got the not-actually-bad-for-you junk food craving that only J. Mobile can cure, book ‘em for your next event. MUST TRY “Dirty Secret” — 2 faux beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, “cheese”, pickles, and onions on a sesame seed bun. It’s like a Big Mac with a conscience.
