Bill “Billy from Philly” Fromholzer Jr. first founded The Original Steaks and Hoagies back in 2010. He wanted to bring his newfound home of Ohio the classic City of Brotherly Love sandwich after running several sandwich shops in Philly. After making a splash on the Buckeye State's food scene, Billy decided his job was done and went back to Philadelphia. However, his legacy lives on via the multiple Original Steaks and Hoagies food trucks rolling through the Wadsworth, OH area. An original philly is a worthy choice. That mashup of paper-thin slices of ribeye simmered with onions and peppers and served on a hoagie roll has a permanent place in the hearts of sando lovers for good reasons.
