The base for this meal is a dhal puri (a flatbread stuffed with yellow split peas, cumin, and garlic). Your chicken curry and a side of potatoes is placed in this flatbread and served. You can choose rice instead of the roti.

Your dhal puri roti comes with 2 different stews/Curries. Can choose rice or paratha roti instead.
Masala Shrimp Roti
A light masala paste is used to cook Shrimps that is soft and scrumptious. Served with potatoes in a roti or steamed brown rice.

Paratha Roti (buss up shut, roti skin).
A Guyanese roti that is a soft, fluffy, pastry like flat bread that is used as our "spoon" with curries and stews. They’re 6 ozs. each and at least 15 inches in diameter.
Dhal Puri Roti (seasoned yellow split peas)
This flat bread is stuffed with season yellow split peas and other spices. These are 8 Ozs each and at least 15 inches in diameter.
We serve rice in many ways. The picture you see here is of Jollof rice from West Africa.
