What is the story behind your business' name?
I grew up on a hog farm where we ate pork all of my life. Barbecue was our favorite dish. Years later, many of my family members suffered from diabetes, hypertension, and gout. The doctors advised my family to lay off the pork. I decided to make an alternative to pork barbecue by using turkey instead. It has all of the great flavors and none of the side effects that contribute to diabetes, high blood pressure, and gout. My family could barely tell the difference between the pork and turkey barbecue. They stopped eating the pork and their bodies feel better!
