TJ Take a Bao

TJ Take a Bao brings a world of Asian flavors to the streets of Elk Grove with a menu crafted from the experiences of Thomas and Jing Megna. After living in multiple Asian countries and running an award-winning restaurant in Napa, they launched their mobile kitchen to share bao, dumplings, and other fusion dishes with Sacramento and surrounding communities.

Guests can enjoy classic dim sum options like BBQ pork bao, chicken bao, and veggie bao, along with xiao long bao, pork dumplings, potstickers, and spring rolls. Rice and noodle dishes include shrimp fried rice, chicken fried rice, beef chow mein, bibimbap, and za jiangmian, offering bold, authentic flavors that celebrate both North and South Asian cuisine.

TJ Take a Bao also offers bento boxes and soups, making it easy to enjoy a complete meal on the go. Whether stopping by the West Sacramento location or experiencing their pop-up events, each dish is prepared with care, bringing the Megnas’ passion for Asian fusion to every bite.
