Trap Kitchen originated in Compton, CA when two unlikely friends came together. Malachi Jenkins, a Crip, teamed up with his best friend Roberto Smith, a Blood. Despite being from rival gangs, the pair decided to change their life paths via their own business. And so, Trap Kitchen was born. The duo began traveling state to state dishing out tantalizing burgers, sandwiches, and more. Since then, Trap Kitchen has opened its very own brick and mortar restaurant in Portland, OR. For delicious food born from a great mission, look no further.
