About Vansauwa's Tacos and Vegan Eats

Vansauwa's Tacos and Vegan Eats is the 2024 Kentucky Food Truck Champion and the 2024 Best International Truck for the Middle TN Food Truck Festival. Based in Hopkinsville, KY, Vansauwa's serves up bold, flavorful dishes with a unique twist. Founded by Zirconia and Desaepa in 2018, Vansauwa’s started with a simple mission: to perfect jerk chicken up to the high standards of Zirconia's Bajan father. What began in their kitchen quickly grew into a festival favorite, and now a full-fledged food trailer, featuring tacos that pack a punch with authentic Caribbean flavors.

The menu boasts signature items like the Jerk Chicken Taco, packed with Vansauwa's special jerk marinade, pineapple-mango salsa, and crunchy red cabbage slaw, all wrapped in your choice of corn or flour tortilla. For seafood lovers, the Cajun Fish Taco, topped with sweet corn, pico de gallo, and Cajun mayo, offers a fresh and flavorful bite. Vegans aren't left out either, with the Black Power Taco showcasing grilled black beans, sweet corn, jalapeños, and a house-made vegan sour cream.
