The name Very Good Coffee started with a subtle nod to one of our favorite TV shows, Parks and Recreation. But behind the playful reference lies a much deeper, heart-led story. When creating the world, everything in creation was declared good—the light, the oceans, the trees, and the stars. But when it came to human beings, the verdict changed: God called humanity "Very Good." People are undeniably the best part of coffee. It’s the human connection behind the bar that brings a simple drink to life. Coffee is simply too good to be enjoyed alone; it’s meant to be shared, to spark conversations and to bring people together in life's biggest moments.
