Professional pastry chef Mary always wanted her sons, Max and Brendan, to travel and see the world. She was more than pleased when they decided to embark on a month-long trip to Europe. While staying in Amsterdam, they fell in love with the waffles. Upon returning to Portland, OR, they found themselves craving the pristine breakfast confections they left behind. So, they decided to bring all that goodness to the USA with their very own business. Teaming up with their mother, who developed her own recipe based on Liege-style waffles, they founded Waffle Window.
Here, you’ll find a mix of sweet and savory waffles to sample. You can nab a pearl sugar waffle smothered in whipped cream or a waffle topped off with a scoop of salted caramel ice cream coated in dark chocolate. Or, on the other side of the spectrum, go for waffles covered in ingredients like red wine-braised mushrooms, crispy bacon, or black forest ham. And, of course, there’s also plenty of chicken and waffle mashups to try. Drooling yet? Then stop on by ASAP and try these goodies. Even better? Book Waffle Window for your next event. You won’t regret it.
