What is the story behind your business' name?
A wink is a small thing—a playful gesture, a moment of connection, a little sign that says we're in on this together. That's exactly what we wanted to create with Wink Desserts: moments of joy that bring people together. We're a mobile dessert cart based in Edmonton, Alberta, serving up fresh, interactive treats at weddings, corporate events, and community gatherings. What makes us different? Everything is made right in front of your guests. No pre-packaged platters. No guessing how long something's been sitting out. Just fresh, beautiful desserts and the experience of watching them come to life. Our menu includes mini cakes in signature flavours, fluffy mini pancakes cooked to order, waffle pops dipped in chocolate and loaded with toppings, and other delicious treats. The best part? Guests get to build their own—choosing their base, toppings, and drizzles for something completely personalized. There's something magic about watching someone's face light up as they pick their toppings and take that first bite of something made just for them. That's the moment we live for. That little spark of delight—like a wink—that turns an ordinary event into something people remember. We show up, set up, and serve your guests something special. Sweet, playful, and always with a little sparkle—that's Wink.
