What is the story behind your business' name?
I started Zai Foods LLC in 2021 with one vision: to bring authentic Mediterranean flavor and true hospitality to every event we serve. As an immigrant who came to America with a dream, I built this business from the ground up with hard work, passion, and a focus on quality. Our signature falafel, Turkish street food, shawarma, gyros, and loaded fries quickly gained a loyal following, helping us grow from one small truck into a multi-truck operation serving major festivals, corporate events, schools, and private celebrations across DC, VA, MD, PA, and NC. We believe great food should be fresh, clean, and full of flavor — and our customers taste that in every bite. Our commitment to fast, professional service has earned us invitations to major events like the National Cherry Blossom Festival, the 4th of July DC events, State Fair, and Festivals across the East Coast.
