Big Grandma's Kitchen

Chef Lima learned how to make Salvadorian dishes from his mom whom everyone knows as Big Grandma. He grew up helping his mom in the kitchen as a young child living in El Salvador up until the day that they migrated to Los Angeles, CA and settled in Pasadena. After working in the food industry since 17 years old Chef Lima has realized his dream of owning his own business. Over the years Chef Lima worked closely with his mom to master the art of the pupusa while also adding his own twist. Over the last three years Chef Lima has transitioned from doing small caterings to farmers’ markets, pop up events, and now a food truck earning the nickname “pupusa ninja” because he don’t serve fast food but he serves food as fast as he can. Big Grandma's Kitchen is about sharing a part of the Salvadorian culture with everyone.
