Big Mama's Kitchen

If you find yourself all the way up in Chicago with a craving of some down home comfort food, well, you'd be out of luck. That is, until Big Mama's Kitchen came on to the food truck scene. She's serving up a bevy of what she calls urban soul food, culled from the traditions of Southern cuisine and updated to modern food truck fare standards. Not that there's anything standard about it. Big Mama's Kitchen elevates itself above your regular old food truck with the use of recipes that span generations of talented cooks, infusing every dish with a bit of soul and a whole lot of flavor. And she knows just how to bring the heat to the meat and the jerk to the chicken. Especially the latter, as her homemade jerk chicken is available in a myriad of delicious forms, on tacos, in a salad, even sitting atop a bed of crispy tortilla chips for the best jerk chicken nachos you're ever gonna eat. But that's not all she's got up her sleeve. Big Mama's got a bowls full of soul and fresh ingredients, including that specialty jerk chicken and a heaping of Italian beef on burgers and sandwiches. So why wait? Big Mama's got just the stuff to satisfy cravings and big time appetites, on a bigger menu with the biggest portion sizes. Trust us. Chicago's never had better, and neither have you.
