Soup in the summer? Before you jump to any hasty conclusions, know this: it’s served by a Nazi. Not helping? Maybe this’ll jog your memory; “No soup for you!”
That’s right, Seinfeld’s own Soup Nazi is coming to life this summer in Boston and Cambridge, and he’s trendy too! Even the 1995 sitcom character has caught food truck fever…with a little help from CBS.
On August 3rd, the Soup Nazi (Larry Thomas) will serve all sorts of Seinfeld themed delectables like muffin tops, black & white cookies, Junior Mints, and soup! The best part is, it’s all free! What about the bread? That’s $3. (Just kidding. No bread for you.)
You can find the Seinfeld truck in Harvard Square from noon to 2 p.m. and on the Rose F. Kennedy Greenway at Dewey Square from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Make sure to stop by on the third to pick up your own nostalgic nosh and snap a pic with the Soup Nazi himself.
And don’t forget to thank CBS for their delicious generosity by tuning into myTV38 weeknights at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. for re-runs of the sitcom that kept you laughing throughout the ‘90s.
