What is the story behind your business' name?

A good friend actually named us. 'Chi' for Chicago and 'Pie' for our delicious pies. We were originally thinking of Chicago's Finest, but Chi-Pie has a good ring to it.

About Chi-Pie

When Lindsay and Malysha landed in Los Angeles, CA, they quickly realized their newfound city was subpar when it came to pizza. This was particularly true when it came to the deep dish variety. When the pair ordered a supposedly Chicago style pizza that came out looking like an oversized hot pocket, that was the last straw. It was time to take things into their own hands. The solution? A food truck, and so Chi Pie was born. Now, you can indulge in a decadent slice of Windy City pizza right in the Golden State. Start with a foundation of extra thick, buttery crust, add ample amounts of meat and cheese, and top it all off with a layer of sweet-and-savory tomato sauce. In addition to Chicago’s signature pie, the menu also sports thin crust pizza, Chicago dogs, and loaded french fries. The next time you’re looking for a healthy dose of decadence, go find Chi Pie out on the streets. Or, better idea? Have ‘em out to cater your next event.
