What is the story behind your business' name?
I sat down on a bench next to Sunny of Sunny's Ice Cream in Minneapolis one day. I asked Sunny how he got into making ice cream. Sunny said durring WWII he was stationed in Italy waiting for transport back to the United states after the war ended. He said he was there for 2 years with nothing to do so he went and got a job at an ice cream shop. Then he says to me "you know why my ice cream is better than everyone elses-I put more fat in the batter!" 20 years later when thinking about a name that conversation came to mind and thats where Fat Batter Ice Cream was born.
