Husband and wife team Georgy and Teresa Kasoyan grew up in Georgia, a nation known for its bountiful agricultural output. Given the amount of crops grown on Georgian soil, it’s no surprise that food is a major part of the country’s culture. The Kasoyans grew up enjoying delicious, farm fresh eats on the daily, and wanted to share these cuisines with residents of San Jose, CA. Unable to decide on a single location for their business, they went mobile. Now, the pair are the proud owners of Kolkhida. This food trailer wheels around The Golden State whipping up unforgettable international fare.
If you're unfamiliar with Georgian food, you’ll want to stop by multiple times to sample everything on the menu. The Kasoyans serve loads of traditional meat and veggie dishes seasoned with blends of full-flavored, aromatic spices. If you’ve never tried khachapuri, these cheese-filled loaves of puffy bread are well worth sampling. They also serve up traditional sides and tasty drinks flavored with fruits and spices to quench your thirst. If this sounds delicious, don’t hesitate to stop on by the next time your stomach is rumbling. Even better? Book Kolkhida for your next event. This unique vendor will leave guests raving.
