People loved the ice cream truck and they stayed open longer then we booked them for which was super nice especially because the other trucks left a little early when they saw most of our group was done with lunch.

Both trucks arrived as scheduled. Thye were courteous and the food was fresh. My only lesson learned would have been to provide my guest with numbers ` -50 & let the go in groups of 10 to put in their food order. I had live entertainment that coincided with the food truck & when people got up to put in their food order, they were told a number & stayed around the truck waiting for their number to be called. The entertainer was playing to empty seats. Also, because it was an last afternoon, multigenerational event, everyone enjoyed the selected food variety and because it was mostly an outside event, they were able to take their personal servings and sit wherever. Having the dessert truck arrive later with a 1/2-hour overlap worked out just fine. The dessert truck got to leave a bit early as the quota was met earlier and people had mostly left the 4-hour event.

I was nervous up until I wasn't. The food truck arrived as planned and so did the dessert truck. Guest were all pleased with the event. All went well. I will definitely recommend roaminf hunger to others with a similar event idea. Many thanks for all going well! Only one lesson learned. Guest should select in advance a number to submit for their meal or appoint one person to take food orders by name & a corresponding number. I had less guest than the minimum meals with no overage beyond 50. When I finally ordered I was order # 55 & it then occurred to us that some of the younger ones were going back for seconds. The Food truck was more than cooperative & did not charge me overage. Learning this lesson, I was able to let the 2nd Dessert truck to let me know when they were nearing maximum. Other than that small snafu, all went well!
