Olano's Empanadas offers local Milwaukee-ans the chance to savor the flavor of authentic Peruvian food, all in the palm of their hands, made with more than capable hands. Alex Olano, a trained cook originally from Lima, Peru, uses his grandma's recipe as inspiration for his empanadas, and together with his wife Leslie, they've concocted a menu with 14 different tasty options.
With family as the center of their business, Olano's Empanadas has gained more than a few hungry fans in Wisconsin. What started as a pre-order service evolved into food carts all over the region, and now the food truck roams the street to offer these perfect Peruvian pastries. Track 'em down for big flavor served up with a big heart.
