What is the story behind your business' name?
We moved from Los Angeles to Tacoma Washington in 1994. Our Plan was to start a food truck business and then open brick & mortar restaurant. Our Business Was Called Tacoma's Un Taco Mas. if you take, the s out of Mas and move it back 1 space it spells Tacoma. We started selling our Shrimp and Carne Asada Tacos at different local events on the weekends out of an Easy up canopy. We served the Puyallup fair and other community events. We would sell out every time we went to these events. I was running a Pressroom in Seattle when I was offered a position with a company from Philadelphia as a factory technical Rep. I couldn't turn down the position, so the company relocated me and my family back to Los Angeles. I travel the world serving our customer till I retired in 2018. We moved to Surprise AZ in 2019. My Wife said to me one day. If I Remember the business, we wanted to start in Washington. I said Yes, my wife said I'm ready to start a business in Surprise AZ of Ortega's Un Taco Mas.
