What is the story behind your business' name?

We used to call each other Paisans all of the time which means an Italian American friend in our eyes, so we made up our own word, Paisani which is the plural of that. Paisani, Italian American Friends!

Where did you learn to cook?

Ryan learned how to cook growing up in a house with three brothers and eventually into the service industry working in every corner of the restaurant. Ryan was mostly in the front of the house but would whip up creations and learn from the chefs at Salvatore's in Medford. Matt learned how to make an omelet at the age of 10 from his father and after eating so many delicious things his family had made over the years he taught himself how to cook through the internet and ended up being the one cooking for the family most of the time. Matt also worked in the front of the house at Capo in South Boston where he learned the business and was influenced by the amazing food and chefs there.
