PeacefulPlatez was born from two places close to my heart: my Muslim faith and the sense of peace I felt as a child gathered around food, family, and love. In Islam, peace is more than a greeting—it’s a way of life. And growing up, a good meal always brought people together, grounded in gratitude and joy. The “platez” part? That’s my playful twist—because while my food is rooted in tradition, it's also creative, fun, and full of flavor. I started PeacefulPlatez to recreate the warmth, love, and togetherness I felt as a child—those special moments around the table with family, where food brought comfort and connection. I wanted to share that same feeling with others through every plate I serve. But this business is also deeply personal. As a mother to a special needs child, I needed flexibility—something that allowed me to follow my passion while still showing up fully for my family. Catering and running a food cart gave me that freedom. It lets me nurture my dream, support my child, and build a business rooted in peace, purpose, and love.
